Further to your posting in DDN discussion forum, I am writing this response to let you know that for a number of years that we have been working on the transcription of various television programs, video training as well as other similar programs. This might be one of the ways to reduce the digital divide in the world. Third world countries like Nepal can very well provide extremely high quality transcription services, have the best people to work in this business, can provide high turnaround times many times within the next day, take advantage of the 12 hour time difference of the world so when the US goes to sleep the work is being done on the other side of the world and delivered the next morning, and is normally 20% of the costs of what it takes it to be done in the US. This might still be a viable alternative to getting it done automatically by software.
