As a new VISTA, I'm working with great group of students at UMass now called the Tactical Media Project, and we're pulling together this great, free week of video and multimedia workshops, open not only to UMass Boston students & falculty, but also anybody from the community technology and media community. We're also going to have some exploration of new media with Andy Carvin, Steve Garfield and others as well. Please feel free to give out copies of this to anyone you think would be interested (aka for folks in community tech or media centers).
