Friends, since most of you care deeply about international affairs and love the arts, I thought I'd pass along this benefit song put together by Nicholas Diamonds (from the Canadian band the Unicorns) and an amazing line-up including Devendra Banhart, Beck, Thurston Moore and many, many others.
Its an altrock political spoof on that effort once known as, "Do They Know Its Christmas" and proceeds go to UNICEF. I heard it late the other night as I was driving back from Ottawa, and thought I'd pass it along.
