After an amazing 2005, where Geekcorps work became so famous we made
Jargon Watch in Wired Magazine and the front page of the USAID website,
we're gearing up for a bigger, better, bolder 2006, expanding our reach,
both globally and technologically.

We're already starting to search for 2006 volunteers and you don't want to
miss out on the adventure of a lifetime. Our wish list of volunteer skill
sets includes software developers, business consultants, and engineers of
all types. French fluency and training experience are always a big plus
too.

Details on who we're looking for:

So Geeks of the world, its time for you to register with us via our
website. Register even if you don't think you could volunteer in 2006, or
not sure if your current skills are relevant to our work. Plans change,
projects come up, and we are always looking for advisors who can lend a
hand or an ear - without ever leaving home.

Geekcorps online registration: http://geekcorps.org/default.asp?l1i=205&l2i=206

Oh, and if you've already registered with us before - thanks!! But, be
sure to update your profile if your skills and/or contact information has
changed. If your job changes, be sure to let us know - current resumes and
CVs are vital to our matching your talents to Geekcorps opportunities.

Thanks!
Wayan
