Thanks for the replies and apologies for the late reponse. Pamela & Ore Somolu, thank you for the info on Cawdnet and the various other projects. My interest is how ICT4D might help with ethno-socio divisions. Are there any demonstrations of reduced tensions and greater civic unity in the region? Contributors to this would conceivably include increased agricultural production (and hence less privation?), increased education leading to healthy competition and alternatives, etc. I'm also interested in how visible the Chinese are in ICT4D projects.
The breadth of impact, any measurables, and the role of outside corporations and governments in providing support (financial or otherwise) would be helpful. Writing this down it sounds like I'm asking for the moon... I'm just trying to piece together the various and numerous initiatives in Nigeria and determine if singularly or collectively we've seen an impact. I will follow up offline to not muddle the list with further questions. Thank you.
