Dear DDNers,

My organization, The Children¹s Partnership, a national non-profit
children¹s policy and advocacy organization with a particular focus on
children¹s health as well as digital opportunities for youth, is producing a
short educational video about how technology can positively impact
children¹s health, economic opportunities, civic participation, and
educational achievement. This 5-10 minute video will be used to educate
policymakers as well as other children¹s advocates about how technology can
improve children¹s lives when applied properly.

We are seeking a young person to interview (with consent and adult
supervision of course) who has used technology to improve their academic
achievement such examples might include using an online GED course, taking
an AP class online, using particular software to improve in a particular
subject. The catch is that they need to be in Southern California in order
for our non-profit budget to allow us to go to them and video tape the
interview. I would need to get some background information about the young
person¹s story as well.

If you would like to recommend a particular young person you have in mind,
or if you have contacts that could help me find a young person with a
compelling story that should be told and that fits the description above,
please contact me as soon as possible directly at my work email:

Thanks for your help!
Cheers,
