Well, MISRA is an evidance that C (C++) is quite error prone by desing. I think, D can do better, . And the lack of dedicated tools is just a consequence of shortage on funds.

And I always say that the fact that C needs so many different tools (including those for AUTOSAR) is its disadventage actually (they consumes a lot of money and development time). But it is how the World works now. But who knows the furure? ;)
