The latest dmd from git asserts when compiling this snippet:

int main(string[] argv)
{
    char a = 2;
    char b = 4;
    b /= a;
    return b;
}

Internal error: backend\cod4.c 1289

while dmd 2.053 succeeds.

Same for %=. With wchar, the assert is one line later, dchar works.
