Import Libs, DLLs, 64bit and 32bit

I really don't know where to ask that, I hope you can help me :).
Is it possible to use an import lib generated with implib on 32bit on a 
64bit machine? And if so, is it also possible to have dlls which work 
for 32 and 64bit?
