I suppose something along these lines was meant:

    immutable string[Test.Type] DESCRIPTION;

    shared static this()
    {
        DESCRIPTION = [Test.Type.One: "One!", Test.Type.Two: 
"It's Two...", Test.Type.Three: "And... Three!"];
    }

    struct Test
    {
        enum Type { One, Two, Three };
    }
