Being a hack, it would be even nicer if it worked ouf of the box:

    mixin template foo(bool b)
    {
        int _impl() { writeln(b); return int.init; }
        int _ipml2 = _impl();
    }

vs

    mixin template foo(bool b)
    {
        writeln(b);
    }
