I guess you already know, but mailman 2.1.16 can be configured to be
DMARC compliant. It's not a perfect solution though.

Yeah, I saw that. And like pretty much everyone who manages a mailing list, don't consider that an
actually useful answer. Posts aren't from the list, they're from the people who post to the list.
