Perhaps it's a good moment to remove the monitor pointer from D classes (as in a recent front-dmd patch).
(D didn't follow the borrowing/linear types ideas of Bartosz that were more primitive than Rust ones, but perhaps sufficient to fend off the Rust menace :-) ).
