Nah, it's pretty simple. Just send him an email. I did this some
time last year, and even posted to the NG about it.
Yes, the issue isn't getting in contact with him, it's just that he's
been too busy to continue maintaining it as much as he had been. I'm not
sure if he's really still into D anymore anyway (though I could be wrong).
