Yes it is what I keep on telling on the recurring GC vs ARC discussions,
every time Objective-C on iOS gets compared with Java on Android.
Dalvik sucks and Google hasn't invested that much effort into it since
around 2.3 got released, yet people look into their Android device and
judge Java on mobile devices by Dalvik's lack of quality.
