That's true as well! In my dreams, me and the famous actress... oh wait, wrong dream. In my dreams, I eliminate std.string and put all of its algorithms, properly generalized, in std.algorithm, to work on more than just arrays, and more than just characters.

And what is preventing the dream from comming true, I mean, the one about string functions? Is there someone who doesn't want this?

1. Time. 2. It would break a lot of code that uses strings (I know, not a very strong argument.) Time is the main issue.
