Heh. I don't think so. We've just rebalanced our priorities.You can't have simple, expressive, and low level control. D1 was simple but lacking in expressiveness and control. D2 had traded some simplicity in to improve the situation. I think it has been worthwhile (modulo the inevitable hiccups and warts).
