This is good news for D! It lowers the bar for writing 64 bit D code on Windows, and it also enables us to abandon support for versions of VS prior to 2013.
Does it? Weren't the relevant parts available as part of VS Express and/or the Windows SDK? (Dreamspark Premium makes you rather oblivious in that regard.)
In any case, this is good news for Windows development indeed. David
