being on non-nix system is a torture. there aren't even gcc,
let alone
emacs/vim.
I wish there was a blend of modern IDEs with the
editing/customizability power of emacs/vim. mono-d and DDT's
utilities are far ahead of anything available for D in emacs/vim,
but the actual IDEs themselves are difficult to work with.
