Too late, it's already dropped to 142. Between this ridiculous
ranking system, shadow banning, the faux intellectualism, and
the cult of Paul Graham, HN probably has to be one of the worst
tech communities on the internet.
The post was on the front page for many hours, which is a lot
more than how long the average link lasts. With 128 upvotes, it
did very well, so your negativity is unwarranted.
