I'm not sure what you're suggesting. The posting process page
actually shows the process of checking the post for spam against
multiple spam-checking services, sending it off to the NNTP
server, and waiting for the message to be received back (which
indicates that it has been saved and is available for everyone to
read). All this does take a few seconds.
