Why not use a free function?
import std.stdio;
enum Foo { bar, baz }
void print(Foo f) {
final switch(f) {
case Foo.bar:
writeln("bar");
break;
case Foo.baz:
writeln("baz");
break;
}
}
void main() {
Foo.bar.print();
}
