Yep ... Its it uses LLVM.
Java, Kotlin, C# are still Jit compiled languages, with the
memory footprint to prove it :)
C# may change to a native compiled language with CoreRT ( This
translates C# to C++ code and then compiles it. A bit like Haxe
(C++ target) or Nim(C target) ).
