D2 is pretty much finalized now. The discussion (i.e. bikeshedding)
alone to determine how tuples are done right would take much longer than
this.
Technically, the book is finalized. Any details of D2 that are not in the
book are allowed to be changed. That is, as long as it doesn't conflict
with what the book says, it can be changed. This is why a complete
documentation of phobos is not in the book (parts are referenced, and
those parts must remain frozen).
