Somehow I knew you were going to say that ;)

What's interesting is how controversial this is. I've heard every
reason in the book (and some very inventive ones) justifying not using
a profiler or looking at the assembler.


what would it take to add a built in ASM dump to DMD? Putting that in would remove the need for an external tool and might even allow more useful output like adding source line numbers as comments.
