Well I haven't looked at it so I don't want to claim a strong opinion, but 
others are probably in the same boat thinking that std.date needs replaced and 
std.datetime sounds good. I also have no issue with a unittest module.

I suggest to at least skim through the documentation and/or the code. If you use D in any capacity, you'll need at some time or another to use std.datetime, so this is a better time than any other to take a look at it and voice opinions.
