Do we need a 1:1 mapping between students and mentors? I though several
students were interested in the same topics and perhaps could share a
mentor.
Technically it is allowed, but the GSoC info says that it is not
recommended, because of the time expenditure involved. They say that
even for one student mentors often underestimate the amount of time
necessary to provide good support.
So I guess it would be up to the mentor, if he really feels up to it.
