I think, http://d.puremagic.com/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=1550 is very much related.

IIRC, the handle for stdin, stdout and stderr are retreived by GetStdHandle(), which should not be closed at all. Definitely should be fixed in snn.lib.

I don't think that's a good idea because snn.lib likely does its own
internal buffering of the data, which would be lost if the stream isn't
closed.
