lambdas and delegates, and constantly introduces new features like linq, 
generators, covariant templates.

True, but you will see seldom things like LINQ or generators being used in corporate projects with offshoring, unless it is somehow required by
the APIs being used.

Corporate world likes to think of programmers as replaceable items, and that can only be done with simple programming concepts.
