Steven, I have a Ten Tec Pegasus DSP type rig and I don't see any difference using it for any digital modes compared to a Kenwood TS-440. I now use the Peg as my primary digital rig since it works natively with these modes and keys the VOX through the acc port. My new ICOM 756 Pro II can not do this but I did not realize it until after I bought it. I have used the Pro II for RX and it seems to perform in a similar fashion and it would be considered a DSP rig.

Digital IF for PSK31 Hello Y-all...I was wondering for those out there with radios equipped with IF level DSP: Does the IF digital signal processing cause quantization errors on PSK31? I don't own one of those radios so I am not experienced at it. What has your experience been? Steven Renaud VE3ALY The K3UK DIGITAL MODES SPOTTING CLUSTER AT telnet://208.15.25.196/ Yahoo!
