On Wednesday August 3, the Shuttle crew placed PCSAT2 on one of the solar array arms of ISS. PCSAT2 was activated late Wednesday. It is not open for general use yet. Subscribe to AMSAT-BB [EMAIL PROTECTED] for status reports by Bob Bruninga WB4APR. Two more pass today, 1540 and 1715 UTC over the USA. Bob is looking for BPSK31 transmit. PSK-31 stations should Spread out between 29.401 and 29.4025, USB. Remember that Doppler will start your signal about 600 Hz higher and move your signal down the passband to end 600 Hz lower from beginning to end... You can receive on 435.275 FM +- Doppler (that will be at a little higher rate from the 29 MHz Doppler. Start at about 435.278, tune down in 5 KHz steps as it passes over your QTH. So if you can, make some transmissions between 29.401 to 29.4025 at the above listed times and make them the whole pass over your QTH. Simple satellite tracker that works well is Satscape , be sure to download the most recent TLE (two line elements).
