Hi, Have been searching the web for information to be able to construct a station capable of connectivity between laptop + HF portable and HF home station to a PC which either is remote accessed or can transfer low rate data (email) from its broadband (or dialup) IP connection.
In principle, WinLink2000 would provide this functionality but as we are putting up both ends of the system don't want to tie up part of an international net - for what will be local / emergency messages. Is TelPac a suitable standalone? SCAMP has been on test for a year, is it suitable / available to download? Comments please, particuarly what method to use to establish the internet bridge. I realise its low data rate, just all the programmes tried so far are not written with realtime file transfer capability (DIGTRX, HamDRM etc) in mind. 73,Ralph ZL1TBG ------------------------ Yahoo!
