Hi Andy I haven't done much listening yet this winter but last winter around 0730-0800 EST I used to hear some w5/6 with a sched to vk between 7150 and 7200. I could hear the VK's about 4x3. There is a net on 7153 and I would sometimes start tuning up frequency and hear them. I am usually mobile (stationary -- gotta have that first cup of coffee!!!) in my vehicle at that time. Using a DX70TH and a screwdriver on the rear door of my van. It is possible. Good luck.
