I get it!

 

That must be why I cannot get the audio input level to the TS-850S set properly.  Now to find a plug for the ACC2 socket.

Speaker output voltage can be around one volt.  You only need around
20 milivolts, using a resistor pad in the transmit audio path  helps
"knock down" the voltage to a manageable level.  See the digrams at:

Then using your Windows sound mixer application for fine tuning to
adjust transmit output. See:
