Obviously, I am referring to digital modes as we do use voice and cw modes with some success, although quite slow compared to the potential of what digital modes could do.
There is at least one official ARRL Skipnet operation on 10.147, but it is fair to say that few use the band for digital links other than Winlink 2000. I plan to call CQ on various digital modes and probably will try higher, around 10.140 dial frequency with center freq perhaps 1 KHz or a somewhat higher. I previously tried 10.130 and up but it appears that many DX stations would only work digital above 10.140. I am using Multipsk, so that allows me to transmit a waterfall message showing what mode I am using. I would like to see what that looks like so perhaps others will turn on this feature when calling CQ. It should help a lot in getting another station to respond if they know what digital mode you are using. 73, Rick, KV9U Jason Hsu wrote: > --- In [email protected], KV9U <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > < Very few current sound card modes are ARQ.
