Hi Andy,

You really can't control the tool as far as being a control operator
is concerned even sitting there with you hands on the mouse/keyboard
ready to dump it if during multi-channel Sounding your station is
about to Sound and you hear the channel is busy and you want to stop
it, you might, but its a HUGE challenge. When it comes to LQA
Calling, if you initiate that process its going to make a call on
every channel in your Scan GROUP until it achieves a link with the
intended station, fire that one off into a dummy load and try to stop
it, its not easy, it takes multiple attempts and brings the AXE into
play to pull it off.

In my opinion there really is no argument to stating you in control
of your station if in attendance and you can stop the ALE
transmissions to prevent interference, the best that you can do is
stop it after the damage has been done in that regard, the better
approach is not to place your station into the scenario of being able
to cause the interference in the first place, but that's just my opinion.
