It must be he time of day...

I have had a PSK63 pskmail link from my winter qth, a trailer park near
Valencia, Spain, with SM0RWO in Stockholm for 2 months (January 15 to
March 15) using a mobile setup with a fishing rod and 10 meters of wire
on an RV. The distance was 1300 miles.

The link quality on 10148 was excellent, signals ranging from S0 to S9.
The link was usable from 8:00 until sometimes 23:00 local time, and was
only hampered by pactor2/3 qrm and heavy splatter from the packet aprs
channel on 1049.2. I used 20 Watts during the day time to send my aprs
beacon via pskmail, and 80 Watts for mail when I had to work through
pactor qrm.

Using PSK31 you should have an easy shot on 30, also in the evening
hours.

73,

Rein PA0R
