I have installed the MMTTY engine and receive fine. It appears that it transmits OK also since I made an RTTY contact with a German station with no problem but my question has to do with the waterfall display. When transmitting (I'm using AFSK with a TS-2000, not that it matters) the display turns red where my outgoing RTTY audio appears. I'm running about 35 watts and have no ALC action on the meter but the red display makes me think my audio is to hot.... I would appreciate someone clarifying the situation for me. I've searched around but found no mention of red color on the waterfall display.
Using the same interface and Hamscope for PSK31 I don't get the red on the waterfall and have made several PSK QSOs with no mention of any problems. Thanks, Ken, WS4V ------------------------ Yahoo!
