I'd take the trade in a NY Minute.

I have only one probem with the SDR-1000...the control program is not in
Linux and none of my computers at home, nor my laptop run MS. Also, my
diskless mini-computer (equal to a P-III, 1.8 GHz) runs Linux. If it for
that, I'd have an SDR-1000.

Subject: [digitalradio] Anyone Using the SDR-1000?

I'm considering trading my current rig for the SDR-1000 and would like
to hear what other digital operators think of the rig.

My current rig is the Yaesu FT-1000MP MkV Field. I've got an offer for
trade on a five month old SDR-1000 that I'm seriously considering.

Any thoughts appreciated.
