I am just in the process of commissioning a new computer, an ASUS A8V motherboard with AMD 3000+ cpu and 512mb ram System is XP Pro with SP1 This motherboard has an on board Realtek AC97 sound card. If I plug a Creative Live PCI sound card in, and boot up, the Live card is found and installed ok but the AC97 is no longer present in the system. If I power down and remove the "Live" card and reboot the Realtek sound reappears in the system. I know lots of people are using two sound cards. Can anyone help with a procedure so that I can get both cards "installed'?
