SDR1000 http://www.flex-radio.com/ is a product of FlexRadio Systems and is hardware and open source software to make a software defined radio. Presentations were made at the TAPR DCC on both products. HPSDR http://hpsdr.org/ was also another SDR project presented at the TAPR DCC.
