Yes. some bios'es remove the onboard soundcard when another sound device is detected. I have not been able to prevent that. > I know there are a lot of Hams using 2 cards. How is this done? I do have up to 3 installed. my cards (working simulatneously): - audigy se (20$, windows sounds) - creative mp3 usb (40$ the rig is connected here) - c-media usb stick (8$ headphone/mic combo)
