Each year, around New Year, I publish the annual Digitalradio "best of the year" list. It has always been purely my own opinion. This year, I'm open to suggestions. Not a poll, but I will listen to suggestions.
Last year's awards are listed below. Note one award from last year "Software to watch in 2006: MultiPSK. Improving and I suspect more things will come from this product in 2006" . TARA, they keep the small fish contests going very well. Experimenters Award: Bubba Net..... These folks will try anything once. I wonder if they made a 2 tone Olivia contact yet? Why Bother Award = .... A tie between HF packet (get rid of it already! ) and the 80M RTTY NTS Net (..er dudes, twenty repeats of the messages should tell you that RTTY is not robust enough for traffic handling . Not Grumpy Award = Nick UT2UZ of MixW..... Replies politely , and personally, to people like me that lose their registration DLL! Needs inventing in 2006-2007: ...... HF APRS with Olivia.
