Well, just finished testing and adjusting, and admit to being more
confused than before. If I select just one of the soundcards, I can
trigger the VOX on the 746. No matter how I set up two cards, though, it
simply refuses to work. I went through the quick-start guide repeatedly,
figuring I must be missing _something_.
I'm trying to use a Soundblaster Audigy card for receive, which
works very well. For transmit I'm attempting to use a Logitech USB
headset. I have WinDRM set up as
RX INPUT - Soundblaster Audigy
TX OUTPUT - USB Audio Device
VOICE INPUT - USB Audio Device
VOICE OUTPUT - USB Audio Device
The headset works perfectly with all other programs. Clicking on "TUNE"
or "ID" in WinDRM doesn't trip the VOX on the rig either. I set all the
sliders per the quick-start guide, and even maxxed the transmit audio in
an attempt to trip the VOX.
The VOX on the rig is working perfectly. Every other program that I set
up for VOX is also working, so I think I've eliminated everything except
for the nut holding the keyboard! I can't use one soundcard without
having to rewire the back of the PC every time I want to use WinDRM.
On the verge of giving up and throwing in the towel hi!

Congrats on your first WinDRM reception Dave. Just wondering if it
transmits OK if you choose one soudncard instead of two ?
