  Hello John,

  Baleares or Siberia?

  The main frequency for HF 300 bauds Packet transmissions is:
  * 10150 KHz LSB
  * AF around 1000 Hz.

    Baleares island is very inviting, especially since we have had temps down
to -25C, currently -10C

    Any idea what frequency they are using for all this? Would it be worth
chosing one which we could use ? We do not have any band/baud restrictions here
(Canada)for this type of transmission so could use whatever suits European
stations.

      Hello to all,

      For information, here are some interested tests from Txema (EA2AFR) in
APRS RX and APRS repeater.

      Baleares islands seem very sympatic (20 °C!).
