Jlog is an Amateur Radio app to keep track of radio contacts. Runs under Mac OS X, Mac OS, Linux/Unix, Windows, etc.
I chose the Linux install: http://jlog.org/linux.htm It is a Java app. (Make certain you have Java loaded and working.) Download Jlog to the folder of your choice. In Linux using a console editor e.g. XTerm or similar: $ cd <to the directory where you put jlog> $ sh ./install.bin Jlog will start to install, may pop up an ERROR ... something about insufficient install space ... ignore that error ... installation will complete then request an upgrade download -- do that. EUREKA! A new working app! Hooray! NOTE: I am running it under Puppy Linux 2.11 on my laptop. I have not tested it under other versions of Linux, or Apple/Mac, or any MS version of windows. -- Thanks! & 73, doc, KD4E ... in sunny & warm Florida :-) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thank our brave soldiers this season: http://www.letssaythanks.com/Home1024.html ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ URL: bibleseven (dot) com
