Hi all,

I would support the idea of making HF bands available to all new
candidates (including no code entries). In fact I would specifically
allow *digital* portions of HF to all - just to try motivating newcomers
to join. For example, I wouldn't see any problem with a
'no-code-HF-digital' ticket permitted to run up to 100W for HF digital
modes *only*. I personally would invest in some modest HF gear in order
to run a HF mailbox and to encourage local VHF folks to exchange packet
mail or like. In opposite, it looks to me that the future is not so bright.
