Nothing to be done about it, alas. This happens every major RTTY contest. The gentlemen's agreement bandplan goes out the window, and they call CQ right on top of ragchewers. It has been that way for decades. The CW ops do the same thing for those contests. The odd thing is that as far as I can tell, most of the typical digital ops are either working the contest or staying away from the bands altogether. I could not scare up a QSO for love or money just before the contest started. Very unusual for a Saturday morning. And the band condx were OK. de Roger W6VZV
