Thanks, Mark! Some good information there. Building isn't an option
for me, but I see a link to Buxcomm in there, so maybe I can do
something with that.
My 746 doesn't have any of the optional filters installed, so the
narrow position doesn't do much in the SSB position. Might bring it down
from 2.5 to 2.3 Khz. Not sure what the default width is in RTTY mode,
but it's a lot narrower than SSB, so I'd like to be able to use FSK
keying just for that benefit.

You know you can use your narrow filter in USB and LSB. When I had
my 746 non-pro, I just told the radio that the narrow filter was
actually a SSB filter.
