All,

I looked at FNpsk (http://www.w1fn.org/fnpsk/index.html) and downloaded
it.

It seen quite nice as a simple message exchange program. I personally
haven't tried it and you need to that two individuals running the
program to use it.

I have had reports from several individuals that FNpsk doesn't work
well.

First it uses QPSK63 with the addition of what I think is an ARQ
capability. I think we all know that but in a few cases, QPSK isn't the
answer to many of the problems on HF. Also, the ARQ or the attempt at
error free copy may be a problem.

However, I do like the basis of the capability and would like to see
this as an addition to PSKMail or FNpsk changing to PSK125 as the
default and PSK63 as a fall back and using K9PS's ARQ protocol as used
in PSKMail.

Does anyone else have any ideas/thoughts?

Note if you download the FNpsk zip file and follow the installation
instructions, the "Help" folder has all the help in HTML except exactly
how the ARQ/error elimination functions works.
